Birthday greeting card for everyone who loves the swirling floral wallpapers released by Morris & Co.The pattern is titled Golden Lily and dated 1899. This version is a little different compared to the earlier ones. The flowers are set against a dark blue background full of dots in a lighter blue color. Even the lilies have changed color and are now a light and soft hue of cyan.Designer is John Henry Dearle (1859 – 1932) who at this time was the Art Director of the William Morris company.The image has been digitally cleaned and enhanced (March 2021).
